The ezPak can carry two wet panels face-to-face, each up to 1/4" thick. Crafted from premium-grade Birch, a durable hardwood, each unit is professionally designed and finished with a clear electrostatic lacquer. This protects the wood grain, provides a sleek sheen, and helps prevent warping during weather changes.
Art Instructor Tip: The ezPak frame also serves as an excellent temporary frame for your work. By framing your piece, you can instantly assess your composition, design, and overall impact while you paint.
Our innovative mounting system features custom-routed insets with secure, low-profile turn-buttons. This design provides a rock-solid hold for your panels during travel while allowing you to remove one painting without having to adjust or disturb the other. You can even mount panels with the wet side facing out, enabling you to display your work safely without touching the paint surface. While the turn-buttons may leave minor, easily-fixed impressions at contact points, they offer a far more reliable and durable solution than traditional rubber bands or Velcro. For long-term maintenance, the clips are easily adjustable; simply tighten the screws once every few months to ensure they remain firm before your next outing.
Each of the four corners is reinforced with a 7/8-inch biscuit joiner for added strength and durability.

Each ezPak is designed with a 7mm (approx. 1/4") spacer, which is essential for Impasto work. This ensures your wet panels remain separated, preventing fresh paint from transferring between canvases or damaging your thick, textured brush strokes.
